Kill the King arrives as T.I.'s self-described final album, closing out a nearly 25-year run that includes three Grammy Awards, five platinum-certified albums (Paper Trail four times over, King twice), and more than 30 million singles sold. T.I. has said the title is about killing the ego, not the crown.
The campaign opened with Let 'Em Know, a reunion with Pharrell Williams that became T.I.'s first Gold-certified single this year, hitting No. 1 at Urban and Rhythmic radio and reaching the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. Pharrell returns a second time on Mr. Him, and Trauma Bond features the Tuskegee Marching Red Pipers. The video for And Won't, featuring Summer Walker, was shot at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
