The Plugs I Met 2 is Benny the Butcher's collaboration with producer Harry Fraud, released in November 2021 as the sequel to their 2019 project. Where the first Plugs I Met established the template, the sequel refined it: Harry Fraud's production is denser and more layered, drawing from soul, jazz, and cinematic sources, and Benny's pen is at its most focused. The album features appearances from Pusha T, Jadakiss, Conway the Machine, Dom Kennedy, and Westside Gunn. Rolling Stone named it one of the best rap albums of 2021. For listeners who came up on Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx or Nas's The Firm, this is the modern continuation of that lineage.
