Ol' Dirty Bastard
Ol' Dirty Bastard played by his own rules. His solo debut, Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version, was mostly produced by RZA and moves from rough to smooth inside a single song, with Wu-Tang's self-built mythology running through the title and the lyrics. "Shimmy Shimmy Ya," "Brooklyn Zoo," and "Dirty Dancin'" with Method Man still sound like nothing else. He also appears on Busta Rhymes' Extinction Level Event 2, in our Busta Rhymes collection. More from the family is in the Wu-Tang Clan collection.
