The Score is the second and final studio album from the Fugees, released February 13, 1996 on Columbia Records. Production came mostly from the Fugees themselves and Jerry Duplessis, with additional work from Salaam Remi, John Forte, Diamond D, and Shawn King, and guest raps from Outsidaz members Rah Digga, Young Zee, and Pacewon. It peaked at number one on both the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, spawned "Killing Me Softly," "Fu-Gee-La," and "Ready or Not," and was certified six times platinum. The Source included it in its 100 best rap albums, and Rolling Stone ranked it number 477 on its 500 greatest albums list. Their debut, Blunted on Reality, and Lauryn Hill's solo debut, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, are in the shop too.
