Super What? (LP)

Czarface and MF DOOM's second collaborative LP was recorded and ready for an April 2020 release before COVID pushed it back. By the time it came out in May 2021, DOOM had been gone for six months. What had been a team-up record became something else: a document of the last batch of verses from one of rap's most singular voices, over beats that matched his frequency. DOOM's side opens with a DMC feature. Czarface: Inspectah Deck, Esoteric: handle their half with the superhero mythology intact. Del the Funky Homosapien and Kendra Morris round out the guest list. Art by Czarface co-creator Lamour Supreme. The mask stays on.
