Czarface & MF DOOM

Czarface, the hip-hop supergroup built from Wu-Tang's Inspectah Deck and Boston's 7L & Esoteric, linked up with MF DOOM twice, 2018's Czarface Meets Metal Face and this, their final collaboration together. Super What? was actually recorded and finished in early 2020, before DOOM's death that October, originally set for an April release that got pushed by the pandemic. His passing wasn't made public until that December. Czarface finished mixing and mastering the album that summer anyway, releasing it the following May as a deliberate tribute, MF DOOM's first posthumous release. Ten tracks, real guest spots from DMC, Del the Funky Homosapien, and Kendra Morris, and, in Esoteric's own words, "an honor and a privilege" to share.
