Slick Rick

Slick Rick, a British-American storyteller, rose with Doug E. Fresh & The Get Fresh Crew on "La Di Da Di" and "The Show" before making his solo debut with The Great Adventures of Slick Rick and "Children's Story." His 1994 album Behind Bars, recorded while he was on furlough from prison, is here on 180 gram vinyl, with remixes by Pete Rock and Large Professor. More New York classics are in our New York Foundation collection.
