Run The Jewels

Killer Mike, already a decade into a respected Atlanta solo career, and El-P, the NYC underground architect behind Company Flow and Definitive Jux, formed Run The Jewels in 2013 almost by accident, a one-off collaboration that turned into one of the most acclaimed partnerships in modern hip-hop. Their self-titled debut was given away free, DatPiff-style, no label push, no rollout, just two rappers who'd found real chemistry putting it straight into the world. A decade of Grammy nominations, arena tours, and genuine political weight later, that same tape is finally getting the physical pressing it always deserved.
