Before Post Malone became one of the decade's biggest crossover artists, White Iverson broke through and Republic Records needed a mixtape to keep the momentum going. That mixtape was August 26th, named after the original planned release date for his debut album, Stoney, which didn't make it out on time. Released free on DatPiff in 2016 with guest spots from Larry June, 2 Chainz, Lil Yachty, and Jaden Smith, it sat without an official release for ten years, DatPiff archives and unofficial uploads the only way to hear it. It's finally official now, remastered and pressed on vinyl for the first time, arriving on the actual anniversary of the name it was always supposed to carry.
