Illmatic XX is pressed on 180g vinyl with new liner notes by longtime collaborator Sacha Jenkins of Ego Trip, previously unseen photographs from the original sessions, and a personal note from Nas. The ten original tracks remain unchanged and unimproved upon: The Genesis, N.Y. State of Mind, Life's a Bitch, Halftime, Memory Lane, and It Ain't Hard to Tell in the sequence Nas and his producers: Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, DJ Premier, and L.E.S.: locked in at twenty-one years old.
