The fifth De La Soul album arrived in August 2000 after a six-year gap from Stakes Is High, and it announced the group's return to chart territory with Oooh and All Good — two singles that put Pos, Dave, and Maseo back in conversations they had never really left. The guest list is a cross-section of late-90s hip-hop at its most assured: Redman, Busta Rhymes, Xzibit, Mike D and Ad Rock of the Beastie Boys, Freddie Foxxx, and Chaka Khan. Oooh earned a Source Award nomination. The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. This 2023 Chrysalis reissue is pressed on black 140g vinyl with printed inner sleeves.
