Atrocity Exhibition, 10 Year Anniversary (2xLP, Transparent Blue Vinyl)
Celebrating a decade since the release of Danny Brown's landmark 2016 album, his first for Warp Records, Warp presents special anniversary editions of Atrocity Exhibition. Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt, Ab-Soul, Kelela, and B-Real appear, with production from Paul White, Alchemist, Black Milk, Playa Haze, Evian Christ, and Petite Noir, and a mix by Derek "MixedByAli" Ali. The samples range from 1970s German cosmic rock to radiophonic experiments and industrial techno, and "Really Doe" and "Ain't It Funny" became leftfield anthems. Original sleeve designer Ed Davis created new alternate artwork for the anniversary. This 2LP is on transparent blue vinyl in a shiny silver mirriboard outer sleeve with printed inner sleeves and an 8-page, 12-inch booklet. It is a one-time pressing that will not be available again. Danny Brown is from Detroit, and more Detroit is in our J Dilla collection.
