Harlem's Finest: Return of the King is Big L's fifth and final album, the long-awaited follow-up to his 2000 posthumous classic The Big Picture. Put together by Mass Appeal as part of its Legend Has It... series (alongside new posthumous entries from Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Mobb Deep, and Slick Rick), the album weaves unreleased vocals, remastered rarities, and legendary freestyles into new productions featuring Nas, Jay-Z, Method Man, and Mac Miller. Big L and Nas were both signed to Columbia together in 1992, making Nas's appearance here a genuine full-circle moment, arranged directly with Big L's family and estate.
