Few artists these days have the same amount of passion for their craft as the late Rayquon 'Stack Bundles' Elliot. It has been two years since Far Rockaway, Queens has lost it's leader, and hip-hop lost one of it's brightest up and coming stars. Since 2002-2003, Stack Bundles has been feeding the mixtape circuit with his clever lyrics, undeniable presence, and larger than life persona. Stack has done work with many names in the industry including Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, DJ Clue, Jim Jones, Lil' Wayne, DJ Envy, and more. While he was living, we were spoiled with an abundance of great freestyles, new music, and appearances, only to be left with a large void after his untimely passing. The Mixtape Marvel DJ Semi, long-time collaborator, DJ and friend of Stack Bundles' 'Riot Squad' clique has put together a tribute fit for a king. 'Forever' is a new compilation of Stack's greatest material, never before heard tracks, and a collection of all of his greatest video appearances.
The streets have embraced many rappers, but not many can say they were loved the way Stack Bundles is. Some call him ahead of his time. He loved his hood, and his hood loved him right back. 'Forever' gives fans a chance to experience all angles of the incredibly talented artist, and the opportunity to reminisce on his music and legacy. A true soldier of hip-hop. Stack Bundles will always be remembered by those who knew him. |
